Google launching new web browser today.

This is totally out of the blue. Google are today going to launch their own brand new web browser called Chrome.

I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like. The best thing I read about it is that each tabbed window will run in isolation so if one tab crashes the whole browser won't shut down. Now that is a good idea.

No Mac or Linux version will be available today, which sucks. I was really looking forward to seeing what Google had developed. Well screw them, I'll stick with Firefox

It'll be slow to create new tabs and heavy on memory due to the separate processes meaning duplication of resources. They stolen a few ideas of other browsers too.

I'll give it a go but I don't expect to be impressed.

Sounds interesting but not sure if I want google doing everything. It'll soon become a target like M$

I went to the Chrome website and saw some screen shots. The interface looks pretty nice.

They had an option there to sign up for updates on the development of the Mac version. Hopefully it won't take too long.

Using it now. Websites look nice in it. Interface is a little annoying. A lot of stolen ideas from other browsers. Mostly the colours are annoying.

Oh should probably say, its damn fast.

Well I'm finding it a little annoying.. I keep getting an error say the page has moved or is unavailable!!
