Pushing the Xbox360 to even more rings of red if that is what he means ![]() ![]() 2nd title must be their follow up on Forza2 and they haven't had any add-ons recently so I think it is full steam with the sequel.

GRID.. is not forza.. and definitly not Forza 2.. So as far as 'There's stuff being worked on here at Turn 10 that I simply can't talk about right now, but the progress we've made in the last six months has been absolutely incredible' maybe its in the instruction manual, cuz it sure as hell isnt in the game ;o)

I imagine its just marketing bullsh*t to get people to keep an eye on the game. I won't be buying it, I'm not even a quarter of the way through the second one. I guess I'm bored of the Gran Turismo clones ![]()

| I love the racing in it, but i don't have the time/patience/knowledge to tune the cars or repaint them. Part of me would like it if you could set up some races where you have to use a default car as it is and it would be a case of the best driver wins.

No soup for you hey ![]() Well Gran Turismo was one of my favorite racing games on the PS2 @ PS3 but a GT "clone" it is not - now this may be a good thing or a bad thing in some circles depending on your taste. Forza is a Sim and doesn't hid the fact with a whole host of options to get lost in - getting under the bonnet - Grease monkeys are most captivated by the ability to tune your car to the pinnacle of it's class where one miss-calculation could mean the difference between winning and losing - its very much a team game that puts you under the bonnet and in the driving seat.

Forza's problem is that it it half a sim IMO. Its dumbed down from Pc sims so that hardcore audience isn't interested in it. So its realy audience are people that want something more realistic than Grid but less realistic than a full on sim. It fails on this when you go online because the people that tweak come out on top. My main problem with that is that tuning your car on that level isn't what a racing driver does. He doesn't decide to increase the ride height by 2mm. He tells his engineer whats going on with the car and they adjust the settings. I'd like to see a racing sim with these options to allow people that don't want to fine tune to compete and allow the others go looking for those final few tenths of seconds by doing further setup work.
