Downloaded the Demo and played a bit.

The game feels good much like DIRT. I don't like the sound at all maybe because the volume wasn't that high. The idea I got is that it sounds like a signal generator from the 70's instead of a BMW of 2008..

I played the demo and its pretty good. A little different in terms of control compared to forza. It will take a bit of getting used to. It looks very similar in the menu system to Dirt which is a good thing.
Ill probably get it at launch.

Had a go but feels a tad bit unfamiliar jumping from Forza to this but it certainly has a few things going for it .. one notable thing is the in car view which is missing from certain games such as Forza and so on but not a revelation I.e. noting new.

Has anyone else beat the world record and submitted a time yet?
I got a 1:17:41 but im sure there are ones a lot better than that
It would be cool to win the beemer though.
Also reading the terms and conditions it did'nt mention ireland as part of the participating countries.

I tried a few laps with the controller but couldn't manage less than 1:19.4 so your time is quite good

I might take out the old steering wheel again and try it on this. I have a feeling that I will be better with the controller though like in Forza.

Yes, I beat it in a short session and probably could knock a few seconds of it ..if I give up my life lol. The best times are in the mid to high 1:14 last time I looked when I entered my code.

Well if its any addition to you the best players on Forza use the steering wheel so there must be some method in the madness.

I played a few online races last night and at the start it really is like a destruction derby. Its good craic though and all in good fun. Its really difficult to make it through the first and second corners. After that though its really good racing.
