Oh Give it some time (Time is a great man) I've had very little lately.


Well to give you an idea what it means - example:

Xbox Live Frenzy: Will consist of just two laps across many tracks hence the name Frenzy. Of course all this is built around a point system hence the name GRID 100

Well no one can say I'm not adventurous lol.

There is also another prize generously donated by Gamesnash and more on that later......

What banner ya oxymoron I seen one banner, yes (which was good) but you have to discuss the tournament I.e. corroborate. When we have come to a decision THEN put the description into your banner (finalised)

To make it clear as day, there are two possible tournaments (vote):


(1) My personal favorite -

Name: GRID: HOTLAP LEGEND
Short Description: 5 weeks, 5 challenges with solo and team leaderboards.

(2) Name: GRID 1000
Description: 5 events covering on-line and off-line.


I have already composed all the tournament details and believe (1) is the way to go ..however I most admit (2) seems like a fun time.




NOTE: Tournament on hold (My drive won't spin) ..so I'll have to contact MS and get it repaired. On a brighter note you guys have a lot of time to decide on 1 or 2 (banner) etc......

I have sent you guys a pm with my thoughts on this. I have a new banner now Tech with a similar style as before. It still needs to be finalised with the rest of the details yet though.


ps. If your xbox is more than a year old tech, Microsoft wiill charge you to replace the dvd drive. It was €80 when I rang about mine. Its not covered under the extended warranty
My advice is to trade it in for an elite

GRID: HOTLAP LEGEND

To be the best, you gotta beat the - BEST - this is true in any game: GRID HOT LAP LEGEND sets the stander. Over 5 weeks? 5 challenges? only one winner will emerge to take the title of HOT LAP LEGEND: All pretenders are left behind. Only the best teams, racers, compete in justly for supremacy, numero uno, top dog.

I'm not sure about 5 weeks, maybe 4 as in a month.


How the point system would work ...

Points are reward to individual players and teams that make it into the top 100. Individual players can achieve a total of no more then 100pts in anyone challenge, 1st. spot. The maximum amount of Team pionts that can be achieve in anyone challenge are: 490pts. Only the top 5 team players make it into the pionts.


...Team Points: are rewarded (to the top 5 players in your team) for the purpose of fairness, example:

A Roster of five players from the same team (regardless of size) that secure a position in the top 100, are calculated and rewarded in reverse order, short example: 100th place(1pt). 99th place(2pt). 98th place(3pt).

Top end of the table, short example: 10th place = 90pts). 9th place = 91pts). 8th place = 92pts). 7th place = 93pts). With a possible, 100pts (1st Spot).

If five drivers from your team place 100 or grater? the accumulated point and reward system is as follows, example: 100place(1pt). 92nd place(9pt). 81st place(20pt). 72nd place(29pt). 50th place (51pt). Your accumulated total for your team, would be: 110pts on the Team Leaderboard.



You get the idea. As for GRID 1000 we could still do that down the road BF (No problem)
