Burnout Revenge opinions?

I read a preview of this game last week and they made it sound really exciting. I downloaded the demo at the weekend and it was quite impressive. The graphics were amazing, certainly the best I've seen in a racing game. The feeling of speed is really, really impressive.

I'm not a big racing game fan, in fact the last one I played that I enjoyed was Mario Kart on the N64. But I am considering getting this game. The only thing is that I think the demo was too restrictive. I didn't find any races or the take down mode games. Maybe they were there but I missed them.

So anyone here have the game and enjoying it?

the game is very good its a lot different then the last game , but not in a bad way the races are now more open where you are given a point to race to and you can take any route. The graphics are great and the crash scenes are amazing. There are plenty of races and takedown events so you wont have to worry about the game being short.

I was the same way. Makes me think there isn't enough to do in the final version of the game.

I think I'll wait for GTAIV which will probably have half this stuff in it anyway.

Yeah, I thought that was cool in the demo. You just press right on the D pad to see a list of online friends. I hope other game developers take note of this.
