I was looking around today for software to get my Macbook to connect wirelessly to the PS3. I found a lot of people say that Nullriver is the best solution around.

I downloaded it earlier to try it out. It seems to work very, very well. I started the service on my Macbook turned when to Media Servers on the PS3 menu and the Nullriver icon appeared. You can access iPhoto, iTunes, Aperature and folders on the Macbook. Pretty handy.
