You were obviously looking at an HD DVD Player as they are cheaper.
You would be stupid to get a standalone over a Ps3.

I think here you have it a little backways. The 360 isnt overpriced at all. You get a lot for what you pay for. Focusing on gaming is what I bought a GAMES console for. No point buying an expensive console for anything other than games when I have a PC for media as Im sure a lot of people do. Its the PS3 thats wildly overpriced. Ill admit there are problems with the 360 but its still better than PS3.

yeah ive seen them trying this with virtua fighter 5. you put in the disc it asks you do you want to part install the game on the HDD then you wait 30 minutes while it installs even if you download a demo you must download it then install what a pain
