My Birthday's coming up and I was thinking of getting myself a PSP - I do a fair bit of travelling with work. Anyone out there have one? If so what do you think of it?

Well i have one and got a backup battery pack thingy for it. I got it with pro evo and tekken. Screen is sweet, battery life isnt great tho about 6 hours maybe or less. Surfing net is a bit cumbersome and i havent used it that much. I suppose once you have a travel chargere you would be sorted. .

If you get an old PSP or with firmware 2.7 or less you can mod it and use homebrew on it. i.e. emulators etc. mine is 2.81 and cant be modded for now.

The Screen is fantastic and if my firmware was lower i.e. 2.7 or below i would have modded it.

I'm gonna pick up an extended battery for it off ebay so it should last twice as long.

Pro Evo and Tekken are really good for it, I might pick GTA for it.

Yeah I read that Tekken kicked ass anyway, anyway I'm off to play some LOTR

I haven't touched my PSP in over a year and trying to get rid of it. I may just try and hold on to it.

The DS has a lot of cool games out for it. It can also be modded and can browse the internet as well with an extra cartridge. My brother has his and is always using it. He has it modded also which allows him to backup his games and use it as an mp3 player.

I think it's great for watching movies in work! Hook it up to some speakers and away you go!

My screen was starting to crack on both sides so I bought a screen protector! The games are great quality too, must get around to finishing the ones I have!
