Is anyone here interested in
Fallout 3? It is launching in the Fall but I haven't seen any disucssion of the game here on the boards.
I've never played the first two games, I don't think I'd even heard of the franchise before hearing about this third installment. I think the idea of the game sounds cool and some of the stuff they are attempting in the game sounds very ambitious. The idea of having hundreds (differing amounts depending on who you believe) of endings is amazing but you'd wonder how different each of them would be. The fact that you start the game as a child is also pretty cool and choices you make as a child will affect your game much later on.
It all sounded really good but then I saw some gameplay footage this week and I wasn't overly impressed to be honest. It really just came across as another FPS game but not as polished as COD4. I'm probably being overly harsh but I look forward to finding out more about this game.
