So today I left behind the Xbox 360 and moved over to the Sony camp. I should really say that I moved BACK to the Sony camp because in the past I've had a PS1 and a PS2. The reason I didn't have a PS3 was due to the crazy price at launch, so I settled for the cheaper Xbox option.

The Xbox was good to me and I had some great times. My first online gaming session (GoW), introducing me to Xbox360-Ireland.com and fantastic games like COD4 and Mass Effect. I am probably one of the lucky ones too, in that I had mine for 18 months and never saw the dreaded RROD appear. In fact the system never game me any trouble, apart from the noise.

Having said all that, I still felt like I was missing out on having the Sony Playstation in my house. I always had a nagging feeling that I wanted a PS3. I think I even made a post about it around 6 months ago. The urge hit me again late last week and I just went with it. I know some people think it is a mistake but just seeing it hear in my living room I know I've made the right choice. If that makes me a Sony fanboy then so be it but you won't hear me slagging of the 360 anytime soon.

Now to find some good games ...

The trade in value was €300. I traded in a wireless adaptor, msn messenger kit and a few games too. I paid €100 and they gave me Motorstorm too.

I don't think I'd have gotten much more on adverts.ie or ebay judging by the prices I saw people were looking for.

Well you know I like to do reviews so if you get any PS3 game that need reviewing you can think of me.

Besides the PS3 side of this site is quite neglected in terms of posts compared to the 360 forum, so I aim to improve that.

Well Motorstorm is pretty good so far. Although I've only done two races.

Motorstorm only has 8 tracks!

I give ya 2 weeks before you get bored of it. You may say you won't but believe me, damo and anyone can testify that I was a Ps3 fanboy for the first couple of weeks after I got it and then I just got bored.
