For some reason I have a sudden urge to trade in my Xbox 360 and get a PS3. I don't know why as I haven't thought of doing this before now. It just suddenly popped into my head and right now I think it is a great idea.

What do you think? Can you trade in a console against another?

I'd say you better open the door, go outside, look at the sky, take a deep breath of fresh air, turn around and walk back to your desk closing the door behind you o yeah and leave the PS3 idea outside the door as well

Yeah you can trade one against the other.

I just really like 360 for online etc at the moment plus most of friends have 360's and those that have both tend to buy MP games on 360 rather than on PS3, so when I get a PS3 I will still have the 360 as i would play it online more than PS3.

I'd get a Ps3 but you'll regret trading in your 360 for it. You can ask anyone on this site. PS3 is good for a secondary console but you'll wholely regret trading in your 360 for it

I agree with both Random and Easy. I will eventually get a PS3, but I will never get rid of the 360. The choice of on-line gaming, where most of the people I play with are on 360 is my main reason.

Only played a PS3 for about 30 minutes so perhaps unfair to say I just did not like the feel of the controller. To me the achievement system also adds re-playability to games.

Keep your 360 unless you have decided online is not for you.

There is no way I could justify having a Wii, 360 and a PS3. So if I do get a PS3 the 360 will have to go.

I like the idea of having the Blu-ray player and the fact that the PS3 runs quieter is a big plus too. The PSN is also free which is good. I had a PS1 and PS2, the launch price of the PS3 is the only reason I didn't get one.

Anyway, now that this site is multiplatform I'd be still able to post here.
