| MGS4 has 90 minute cut-scenes! According to an article over on CVG there are some cut-scenes in MGS4 that approach the 90 minute mark. I can't even imagine sitting down and watching a cut-scene for a game for that long. I get bored by the numerous scenes in GTA IV and they don't come anywhere close to being 90 minutes long. The article mentions that you can pause or skip the scenes, but then wouldn't you be missing out on huge chunks of the story. You'd be totally lost and if you weren't totally lost then what is the point of the cut-scenes in the first place. LINK |

| Especially when MGS story line is a standard action movie! Like WTF! What possible revelations is there going to be in these 90 minute cut scenes? This why I never played through any of the Final Fantasy games. Game-movie-game, it just bounces back and forth between the two. |

| No, just no. the storyline of MGS has more twists than a rollercoster, no film ive ever seen matches MGS. |

| "I've beat the game twice, and am the author of the forthcoming [GamePro] review," Shuman said. "Ninety-minute-long cinemas in MGS4 sounds like an exaggeration. Like the other MGS games, MGS4 definitely has a cinematic quality. And yes, some of the cut-scenes in the game are elaborate and occasionally lengthy. But not a one, to my recollection, even approaches 90 minutes."

I just don't think the story lines are as good as other people I guess. I thought the first one was amazing, the second was okay and I couldn't play the rest. |
