Fall out 3 is great. I'm loving it.. its massive. As for Gears 2.. i'd wait to try it before you knock it.

Some of the latest releases seem to suffer from the GTA effect of trying to look real by taking out the colours

I like colours. Mirrors Edge is different which is why I'm looking forward to it.

I'm bored of all the brown

I'm hoping Gears has something new to offer but TBH from looking at the game play vids it is more of the same.

This is of course, subject to change if it is awesome

Also there are a lot of complaints of bugs with Fable 2 which is why I didn't bother with it.

I'm just enjoying Steam games at the moment on Pc instead like Crysis and Portal: Still Alive Mod (TFV on Pc).

I've too many games and not enough time to play them so I can afford to be picky ATM. I just finished GTA FFS!
