GTA IV superior on PC

I was reading today that the PC version is to have a replay mode. The game will be recording your last 30 seconds of action which you can then view and edit. This is certainly one game where it makes sense to have this feature.

Apart from this enhancement PC users will also get improved graphics and better multiplayer.

Meh its been ages on 360 and PS3, if it was released 6 months earlier it might have been superior.

Lol, its always been superior on Pc, almost all games are but the hardware is too expensive for most people to go down that route.

GTA games are usually ported quite poorly from my experience of playing every other GTA on Pc except this one. They don't look that great considering the hardware requirements for the game.

I can imagine the amount of mods that will be out for it, bundle that in a game that can be played on high resolutions and has good texture loading and draw distance textures.(game was cack on 360, and only slightly better on ps3)

Not many will be able to accomplish a resolution of 1080p never mind 2560 x 1600? I have GTA4 for xbox 360 in which case I have to say the draw distance looks awful. I can see the PC version being superior in every department.

For San Andreas, I had to turn off almost everything to get max draw distance though.

That on a laptop that could easily run Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 on medium setting. Struggles with GTA which was ported from PS2 FFS! Sloppy ports, FTL!

The game is also much easier on Pc becuase of the mouse for aiming really fast
