| Steam I have to say I hated steam when it first came out years ago it was slow and pain in the arse. But the great thing is that I had an account years ago with bought half life2 pack and so on. I havent installed steam since I built my new PC about a year ago, just installed it there and steam knows that I bought the games off them so I can download them again and play them. FRICKING SWEET!I have to say a big thumbs up to steam. ![]() |

| Steam was a bit of a bummer in the beginning but now its quite reasonable, yeah it keeps a record of what games you have bought for your account and if you login elsewhere will let you download and play them. Also does a reasonable job of keeping your config settings for playing online as well. |

| I also have Steam installed for a few games and find it brilliant. It used to use a lot of system RAM but seems to have improved. The fact that you can buy and manage your PC games there is brilliant for me. |

| Steam is great, I have all the HalfLife games and TF2&portal on it, and COD4. very easy to load up a game without having to worry bout discs(online games, obviously for singleplayer games the dodgy stuff is there)
