Anyone here play The Sims? I've never played it myself but I have a friend who is nearly addicted to The Sims 2. I never really understood the appeal of the game.

shudder...I dont get the Sims games either.

Played them for a while. I liked them for a while then it just got boring.

The only thing good about it was making a room with a fireplace and full of plants then calling the maid to clean it up. Once she got in you deleted the doors and windows and just left a telephone which she used to call the fire brigade which couldn't get in. Then the fire goes on and sets all the plants on fire and she burns to death.


Or getting them in the pool and then deleting the ladder out so they drowned

It's ok for when you first play it, but then you realise there's no objective in the game.


oh yeah, make a sim use the diving board and then pause remove the pool and let them crash onto the ground is fun

I found it more fun to just delete the board and ladder out of the pool and watch the fooker drown. At least in the original Sims game they wouldn't get out if there was no ladder
