So what do we do?
The Xbox Live Gaming Centre is an alternative social activity for people who like games, and as a venue for social gaming. It's one thing to have four of you sitting around the one screen shooting the crap out of each other in Halo 2, and it's great craic lugging all the gear to your mates house for some cans and 16 player. But with us it's different.

16 of you, each with your own 26" HD screen, a comfy leather seat, your own individual Xbox Live Account, sitting side by side with a full HD view of the battlefield. Halo 1 never looked so good, and Hang em High is something else.

We're family friendly and with over 5000 members since we opened in April, we've a diverse range of people who come into us. We've six year old kids who come in with their dads, whole families, birthday parties, students, guys working in the area, musicians, journalists, and a healthy number of couples.

We have 40 Xbox 360's, 4 of which are in our VIP area which features 4x 42" HD Screens and 4 Xbox 360's. Splitscreen but so much more.


You can also book the centre out for parties (adult and child), staff nights out, large corporate events, and we also provide a range of team-building, communications and leadership courses for businesses looking for a fun productive HR afternoon.

We work with the publishers and give you the chance to win great games, and try out all the latest games before you buy them. We also take orders for games, consoles, peripherals, official Pioneer Xbox 360 sound systems and other stuff that you want to get your hands on. We're that kind of shop which is at the front of our centre.

Games
We try and carry as many games as we can and have large numbers of the more popular games (ie Gears, Halo 2, CoD3, PGR etc) and have at least one of a wide range of games from all genres.

We are also Ireland's official venue for Konami Pro Evolution Soccer Events, and if you play the game we recommend that you get an Irish international ranking on ireland.pesrankings.com . Please use the referrer XLGC when you're signing up so we know you saw our post online.

Support
We're not Microsoft, so if you have three red lights, you're going to have to ring it in and wait like everyone else. But, as we've been working with Xbox 360's and Xbox Live hands on for the last year, our twelve staff all know how to fix common issues in-store or over the phone.

Also, if you are in a position where you don't have broadband at home, you can bring your console and hard drive (both as some content is linked to both the console and the hard drive's serial numbers), no cables required. Bring the Xbox 1 games you want patched in with you, and hook up to Xbox Live over our fast line thanks to the guys in Eircom. If you want to get downloadable content you can do this too, and play some of the latest games while you're waiting for it to download.

Membership & Rates
Under 18's and 3rd Level Students are €5 per hour at all times
Members are €7 per hour at all times
Non-Members are €10 per hour at all times, with a €20 deposit before entry

Membership is free to under 18's and 3rd level students, €50 for everyone else with €25 on account.

Free Play Week
The new EA Uefa Champions League game is free to try in the centre all this week, and on the Saturday we will be running tournaments where you can win copies of the game.

Mondays: Pro Evolution Soccer 6 in association with Reebok €20 from 6pm -10pm (come in groups)
Wednesdays: Call of Duty 3 €20 from 6-10pm
Thursdays: Gears of War €20 from 6pm-10pm
