Oh I thought that was a terrible, terrible film. Surely a case of Samuel L Jackson just turning up for the money.

How To Lose friends and alienate people - was funny, I heard mixed reviews before hand. Worth a watch.

Rambo

I didn't really like this movie, which is a shame because I like Stallone (Demolition Man & Cliffhanger are excellent) and wanted this to be good. There was some good things about the movie, mainly towards the beginning. I was initially impressed by the look of the film, the cinematography was nice some of the shots had a really nice colour to them. Stallone the director has some talent.

However, the quality of the look of the film seemed to deteriorate the longer the film went on. I wonder if there were time or budget restrictions that rushed the production. That of course assumes the film was shot in chronological order, which is rarely the case.

I just didn't see the point in the movie. With so much violence on screen I found it numbed me to what was happening, it was just one exploding head after another. The action was reasonably well staged but the acting of the supporting players was just plain awful at times. Especially the SAS soldier whose name I don't know.

Stallone should have just stuck to the new Rocky movie. That was a good comeback.

Righteous Kill

A decent thriller but decent isn't enough when you have De Niro and Pacino as the two leads. I suspect if there were lesser actors in this film it may not have had a theatrical release.

Casino Royale - hadn't seen it since the cinema two years ago. I watch it the other night, still excellent.

The Italian Job - the F. Gary Gray version from a few years back. I saw it before but couldn't remember much of it. I really enjoy this movie quite a bit.

I love family guy, but that film is very meh.
they made it during writers strike and u can tell, was just a clear copy of first star wars film, and lacked the funny.
