I have to say its quite funny. Maybe even weren't so litigious in the first place it wouldn't come back and bite them but if they didn't get permission to use image its their own fault.

The40Watt will become famous soon enough
My sister is in New York at the moment so I've asked her to pick up the Iron Man Blu-ray for me. I checked out the blu-ray review and it gets a great write up. Only problem is that I read that the disc has been recalled as it was locking up players. Retailers may not have any in stock for the release date, which I think was Sept. 30th.

Hopefully she will get it or else I will have to pay more to get it here.

I asked a couple of people here last week if blu-ray discs bought in the US would work on a European PS3. We all know that games on blu-ray are not region locked but it turns out the same is not true for films. Anyway I found a site that lists all blu-rays released in the US and it tells you whether or not it is region free. Pretty handy.

Site

Iron Man was listed as being region free so I got it and it works fine. If your getting some blu-rays from the US be sure to check that site.

Companies need to cope on with this region locking nonsense. It doesn't achieve anything. If something is region locked in one country and released there, everyone that really wants it in other regions will pirate it because it is taking too long to get to their region.

Terrence Howard out?

According to The Hollywood Reporter Terrence Howard is set to be replaced by Don Cheadle in the sequel to Iron Man in the role of Jim Rhodes.

Howard didn't have much of a role in the first movie but there was a hint in the first that he is set to have a much larger role in the second film. Anyone familar with the comics will know what that is all about. I'm not a fan of changing actors between films but Don Cheadle is a fine actor so I don't think it will affect things to much. I actually prefer Cheadle as an actor, I loved his role in Out of Sight.
