I enjoyed the first one and going by the clip Id say this is going to be a good film as well!

Yeah I hope its good. The enemies at first kinda looked like the wraith from Star Gate Atlantis

I tend not to listen to critics or reviews saying that the sequel didn't live up to the First one. Of course it wont.. the first film always brings something new to a film and its hard for them to do it a second time. As long as ther is great action, the special effects are some what nice I couldnt care less about story Half naked women or fully is always a bonus

You always need a good story in a movie but that's just my opinion. Unless of course it's a porn movie.

I really enjoyed the first film. I read some criticism about it today stating that it didn't have a good enough story to compare with the interesting characters. I wouldn't go along with that. I found the whole thing to be very interesting and besides as the first film in a possible franchise you first have to deal with introducing the characters. I think the first Hellboy did this excellently and left me wanting more.

The first Hellboy was made on a relatively small budget compared with most special effects driven action movies. I assume that they have a bigger budget this time which should make for some even more impressive action.

Over on Empire they have a reaction from a screening of Hellboy II. The author of the piece absolutely loved the film and from his description is sounds like it is going to be excellent. This has shot way up my list of movies to see.

I love hellboy, first one was brilliant, can't wait for the second one I'm honestly more excited over it than the dark kinght, *wait's for flaming to begin* I reckon this one will be even better than the first, also selma blair is looking extra hot!
