It is being made by Doug Liman who directed the Bourne Identity. I know the film has problems during production which resulted in them replacing the original actor with Darth Vad... I mean Haden Christensen.

But apparently there is always trouble on the set of that director. They say he just doesn't know who to finish a movie but that didn't affect the quality of Bourne or Go. This should be a good film too.

Has anybody seen this yet. I am going to see if i can watch it tonight. But what I have seen so far it looks like an interesting film.

I haven't seen it yet but I think it looks good. It is getting an awful lot of bad press and some of this from people who have yet to see the movie.

I wonder if it is some sort of critical backlash against Hayden Christensen and Doug Liman. After all Liman has a reputation in Hollywood for being difficult.

Your not American, no use of the word awesome is allowed this side of the atlantic.

Ok seen this film last sat night in Monaghan Cinema (Not the best for seeing films) To start of with the story, The movie starts off with Hayden Christensen narrating his life story to how he became a jumper which fails to captivate your imagination, His monotone accent bores you to tears within the first 15mins. The introduction reminds me of a very cut down dumb version of how spiderman came to be in its first film.

The rest of the cast seem to be placed stereotypically into their characters e.g the love interest, the wacky sidekick and the big bad nemesis.

The action springs to life with the introduction of Samuel L Jackson as a member of a cult who's sole purpose to to kill all jumpers. David played by Christensen is then plunged into the age old war, which stupidly involves just two people versus the cult.

The action sequences are poorly CG'd which resembles the photoshop craftsmanship of a 11 year old. Like the majority of high budget releases being released at the moment this film falls short on telling a good story and keeping the viewer interested for the 88mins.

Is there anything good about this film???? Well seeing Rachel Bilson in her bra and knickers is never a bad thing
