The official adapter is really as easy as plug and it will play.

What do you get when doing the tests:
System / Network Settings / Test Media Connections on the 360?

and what does it show at?
System / Network Settings / Edit Settings

I'd say you will have to enter the ip address manually into your 360. and switch on plug and play on your router.

This was taken from the Perlico site

You can use Broadband with X-Box and Playstation 2 to play online games. You must first configure a broadband router correctly using a PC. Once this has been done, you may plug your gaming unit into the modem using an ethernet cable, and begin your online gaming.
Broadband is a residential product for use by a single user on a single machine. You are provided with a single IP address and we will not support a network.

If you have a perlico wireless router that has security enabled on wireless you will have to know the username/password or key combination of that.

I am 99.9% sure your 360 will never get a IP, DNS and Gateway if you don't setup the wireless security setting on the 360 to communicate with your perlico router... Only then the 360 will be authorized to communicate with your perlico router and obviously with LIVE..

The defaut ip address for your router is 192.168.1.1 the default password is 1234 click the wireless tab and allow access from there.

I assume you only entered a unique IP and nothing else on the 360...

Make the DNS server and Gateway on the 360 the same as what your PC is using from the perlico router...

The gateway will be your perlico router IP address and the DNS will be some IP from the perlico network..

On your PC:
Start - Run - cmd (press enter)
at cmd prompt type: ipconfig /all

Grab the Gateway and DNS server details from there..
