hey guys i was baffled by this. i got my 360 the otherday and ive got connected to live and evrything with the silver membership. then i lloked at all of the leaflet and one says i have a free month of xbox live gold membership. but the problem is it doesnt give any sort of code etc.. and my profile still says that i am only a silver member. any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I under stand it, every xbox has 3 free month trails in it. Every time you add a new gamer tag you get offered a months free gold membership.

It just does it automaticaly, no codes or anything!

when i started i chose the silver account and then it said "you are entitled to a months free gold trial"

As far as I know... you don't get it for every gamertag... you only get it for one month for any gamertag set up on any particular Xbox.. and it's only for a month... myself and my two brothers have used one and signed on at different times and they still finished at the end of Jan!!
