Guitar Hero II

Ok me , Shane86 and StokolaN have decided it would be a good idea to get a guitar hero league going. How it will take place is we will pick a song at the start of the week say on a Monday and you have until Sunday to get as high a score as possible in this one song, on the Sunday evening i will check the scores and we will do up a table with points going to the top three scorers depending on how many people take part this may be changed. The song can be played on any difficulty as i will only be able to see your top score on the song. If you have any questions on the competitions contact me by pm.
Please post here if you are going to participate, and we will get this going as soon as possible.

P.s At the moment the competition is subject to rule change if you have , a better way as to the way the competition should be run please tell me

well there's at least 5 people on the site with the game at the moment, so top three seems fine, as long as the top scorer gets at least twice as many points as second place.

Whatever you do PLEASE make sure you have the rules covered before, after above and below, left, right and centre.

Leave no room for anything to escape...Trust me it is not nice...

Sounds good... Now to see which is easier the guitar or controller!

Just on the rules.. should we restrict it to a certain hardness or leave it open?

Like just say its a tie with each player on 130,000 but one on easy and the other on medium! or if the person on medium was like 1 point less? would he not still be ahead seen as he done it on a harder difficulty?

Did you not read the first post? "The song can be played on any difficulty as i will only be able to see your top score on the song".

I've a couple of questiong on this...

1. Where can you see the top scores???
2. Do you get higher scores based on the difficulty leve?? ie.. better multipliers if your playing on Expert rather than Easy??

1 there's a leaderboard section in the main menu.
2. the higher the difficulty the more chords there are, so technically it is possibly to get a higher score on medium than easy, but it's a lot harder to do so.

yeah i did, highest score wins, but i wont be in it now anyway
