Just found this article on the web.. Sounds good to me. 4 player co-op and vehicles. played in the Pacific Theatre. Here's hoping for more info and maybe a beta.
The trailer for Call of Duty 5 went live yesterday. I found it to be disappointing in that it didn't show any actual gameplay, it was just a teaser really.
Also I'm still not impressed with the decision to go back to WWII even if it is set in the Pacific.
Plus TreyArch are developing this pile of turd. They developed COD3... need i say more.
In fairness to TreyArch there were extenuating circumstances over the development of COD3 that affected them. Infinity Ward gave them the COD3 project and a year in which to get it out. That gave I.F. two years to work on COD4 and TreyArch had to rush out COD3 - which shows.
At least for this lastest COD TreyArch have been given the full 2 year development cycle so hopefully they have put the time to use. The inclusion of co-op would suggest that they have. But I've said it before they have taken a step back with the setting.
I am impressed by the new details that have emerged today about COD5. We knew it would boast co-op play but I didn't realise it would support up to four players. That sounds pretty cool. I never got to play Halo 3 in co-op but GoW was great fun to play that way.
The dynamic difficulty level sounds interesting too.
40 The more I read about this game the more I like it. I suppose game-play wil be the big tester for it, But I for one will pick it up on release. I thought COD3 was ok. Only played it at the easiest difficulty setting but enjoyed the campaign.
