I know there are a couple of people here on the site that are very excited about Fable II which is launching pretty soon. Personally, I don't know much about the franchise having never heard of the original game on the Xbox.

I really do like the idea of how they are going to integrating the online multiplayer into the game. However, it appears that the full online component won't be included wth the retail version. It is going to be included in an update after the release. Disappointing for fans but I'd say it is better this way than delaying the entire release.

Yes, the disk went gold with out the multiplayer function, but its expected to patch after 8 days. Personally, multiplayer will be fun, but Fable 2 is a single player story. Its a game you can play through many times and end with a different character each time. This is my most wanted title this year, i can wait a week or two for co-op, ill be busy adventuring ;o)

I can't wait for this game tbqh. It's one of two games that I'm looking forward this year (Fable II and GOW II). I can't wait to play the game with my friend who also loved the original.

Lionshead studios have announce they hope the patch will be available at launch allowing MP in Fable 2.

I was lucky enough to spend some time on Fable 2 yesterday, i have to say, i wasnt let down. It was everything i hoped it would be. Beautiful, clever and compelling. Fable stirred up images of terry prachett novels and a victorian christmas. The character are funny, well thought out and interesting to watch. They get on with their lives and you can see them, shopping or working or eavesdrop on gossip. The real star is the dog.. So much hype about this NPC but its worth it. The dog was amazing. This one feature will make you re think what your perception of fable is. Easyfold said 'stab it' and quicly said 'noooo, dont stab it!!' this is a perfect example of what lionhead have done in fable 2. They have made you 'care' about it.
